Folderia ("Folderia", "we", "us") helps you save links, screenshots, images, videos, and documents into a private, searchable library. Folderia is operated by Artem Iakovlev, a sole trader (autónomo) established in Spain, who is the data controller for your information. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
We collect the minimum needed to run the app. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not scan your photo gallery — only the images you explicitly pick are imported.
Information you provide
- Account: your email address, and — if you sign in with Google or Apple — the basic identity those providers return (such as name and email). Apple may relay a private email address.
- Content you save: links you paste or share, and screenshots, images, videos, and documents you select from your device. We also store any titles, descriptions, tags, and folders you create.
Information created by the app
- Metadata we extract from links you save (for example a page title, author, thumbnail, or caption).
- AI-generated fields when you choose AI analysis: a short summary, tags, extracted text (OCR) from images, and folder suggestions. AI runs only on content you explicitly save or analyze.
- Subscription and purchase state (whether you have Plus and your AI credit balance), managed through RevenueCat and the Google Play / Apple stores. We never receive your full payment card details.
- Device and log data — such as your IP address (through our infrastructure), device or app identifiers, and your device model, operating-system version, app version, and event timestamps (through our infrastructure, analytics, and crash reporting) — used to run the app, keep it secure, and diagnose problems.
- Usage and analytics events — for example when you open the app, view the sign-in screen, sign in, save an item, see or close the paywall, run AI analysis, or hit an error — are sent to our analytics provider PostHog (EU), keyed by a random installation identifier and, after sign-in, your account identifier. No email, name, or saved content is sent, and IP addresses are anonymised. Events recorded before sign-in are linked to your account when you sign in on the same device. On Android, we may also record which link or campaign the app was installed from through the Google Play install referrer; we do not collect the advertising ID. We do not use advertising SDKs, we do not sell this data, and we do not use it to track you across other apps or websites.
- Crash and error reports through Sentry, which we configure not to attach your IP address or default personal identifiers.
How we use your information
- To provide the core service: store your saves, organize them into folders, and power search.
- To generate optional AI summaries, tags, OCR text, and folder suggestions on the content you choose.
- To operate subscriptions and AI credit packs.
- To diagnose crashes, prevent abuse, and improve reliability and features.
- To measure which of our links and marketing campaigns bring people to the app.
